Cambridgeshire Plein Air Artist of the Year 2026 Winners and Highly Commended Artists
Our winners’ works were once again exhibited in the Cambridgeshire Plein Artist of The Year Exhibition at Modo Gallery, Cambridge, sitting alongside works by Hockney.
The weekend exhibition took place in June 2026 and we would like to say a huge thank you to Sally Clark at Modo, for her continued commitment to and support for this event.

Amylou on Histon Manor steps with the full judging panel - June 2026
Amylou Jennings is a London based figurative landscape painter, living near London. She has a passion for painting cities and the people in them and especially its vibrant life after dark.
She works primarily in Oils on Canvas and has been an emerging professional artist for just over a year. She trained under Natailia Avdeeva ROI for two and a half years on her intensive mentoring programme graduating in summer 2025 with a large Solo show is Chelsea.

Fiona is drawn to a wide range of subjects, from portraiture and landscape to still life, always with a particular interest in how light and colour can affect the scene or object.
