A Festive Fundraiser with The Men’s Shed

On 10th December, the Old Billiard Room at Histon Manor was filled with the festive aromas of mulled wine as we hosted our annual Men’s Shed Mulled Wine and Mince Pies event. We were pleased to welcome a bumper turnout of Histon and Impington Men’s Shed members, their partners, and family members for an enjoyable and relaxed event to kick off the holiday season.

The atmosphere was warm and festive, with Christmas carols playing in the background, although the lively conversations made it a bit tricky to hear the songs clearly! The mince pies were a hit, with many guests enjoying several, and everyone had the chance to catch up and get into the Christmas spirit.

As a special touch, every guest left with a Histon Manor Christmas bauble to hang on their tree—a little festive reminder of the event.

100 % of all donations made by those attending went to Break, the 2025 Histon Manor Annual Charity. We are grateful for the community’s continued generosity, which will help support such a great cause.
