Celebrate the start of summer with a relaxed afternoon of live music at the first-ever Summer Sounds Mini Concert at Histon Manor.

On Saturday 14th June, the front lawns of Histon Manor will host an informal, open-air mini concert featuring the talented string quartet, The Cam String Collective. The ensemble will perform a vibrant mix of modern pop hits and timeless classical favourites. If you're a fan of the Bridgerton vibe—elegant strings with a contemporary twist—this is not to be missed.

What to Expect

• A casual, picnic-style event – no seating provided, so guests should bring picnic blankets or deck chairs. No gazebos please. The event is very informal.

• Two sets of live music (each approx. 40 minutes) with a 15 minute interval, and the concert concluding around 6:45pm

• Ticket holders are welcome to bring their own food and drink – please note all rubbish must be taken home. No refreshments are available at the venue.

• There is no provision of a marquee for shade or wet weather and only one outdoor toilet will be available (as adding in this infrastructure to the cost will make the event financially unviable), so please plan accordingly.

• Please note there is NO PARKING ON SITE. On this occasion we will only have 2-3 blue badge parking spaces in the lower field as artists will be using this field for parking with their equipment and we cannot have parking at the front of the house. Please email histonmanor@gmail to enquire about Blue Badge parking before purchasing a ticket. Apologies that this is not ideal but as a private home we are not set up well for mobility access.

Plus, an Art Showcase
Your ticket also gives you the chance to see the completed artwork from the Cambridgeshire Plein Air Artist of the Year Award, hosted earlier in the day at Histon Manor. Over 70 artists will have spent the day painting across the grounds, and the winner will be announced during the concert interval by our head judge, Ben Macgregor, The Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year winner 2025. Please note the Arts event is a closed event just for those participating during the day.

Summer Sounds Mini Concert tickets are available now via Ticket Tailor. NB Please ensure you click on the ‘mini concert tickets’ not ‘artists tickets’. Tickets are £7.50 for adults and £20.00 for a family ticket. Children under 7 are free of charge.
In the event of wet weather, tickets will be refunded via Ticket Tailor (minus Ticket Tailor booking fees).

Raising Funds for Break Charity
This event is proudly raising funds for Break Charity. 100% of the profits will go directly to the charity. Histon Manor will take no revenue from the event.
